Happy International Day for Tolerance🤝🌍
The U.N. General Assembly established this Day in 1996 to remind us that “tolerance is more than just passively accepting others, but requires investment in people, education, inclusion, and more.”
I think we can all agree that being kind, being tolerant, being loving to all peoples is what is right. Good people do what is right, not what what is easy—standing up rather than standing by.
For my part, I stand with you!

On the author front, I’m so grateful to everyone who downloaded It’s Okay Not to Be Fabulous Every Day: A Journey to Self-Discovery. All told, nearly 2500 people downloaded the free eBook and two have already written reviews which, as you know, are the life bread for authors, especially for indie authors like me.
If you’ve read FABULOUS and enjoyed it, please consider leaving a review HERE. Doing so helps others decide if the book is right for them, and really would mean the world to me.✨
A single individual can make a meaningful difference.

While the downloads and ranking achievements are incredible—#1 in Motivational Self-Help, #1 in Personal Transformation, and #1 in Self-Esteem Self-Help on Amazon!—it’s also been a challenging week.
People are busy and unsubscribes are part of the process, but having dozens and scores of people, some whom I’ve known for years, unsubscribe this week hit me hard. Fortunately, the impact was balanced by the lovely messages I received from Katie C., Mary L., Bob H., Steve T., Amy R., and Bill P. who wrote:
Every time I see one of your upbeat messages it reminds me of how much you've done, how many obstacles you've overcome, and what a positive, wonderful person you are. I can well imagine that your book strikes a chord with so many people. It's not just a well-thought-out piece of writing, it's natural, unforced, and from the heart.
Messages like this make it all worthwhile—they energize my spirit and fuel my work. Thank you!
To live is to face adversity. If we allow ourselves to wallow, to become overwhelmed with life’s slings and arrows, we risk getting sucked into a downward spiral…

This edition’s book recommendations is At Our Table by Patrick Hulse (Author) and Madelyn Goodnight (Illustrator). If you’d like to support non-profits, click HERE.
A fresh and inclusive portrayal of Thanksgiving that celebrates sharing, community, family, food, and respect for America's first inhabitants.
Here is a lyrical, vibrant tribute to the diversity of America coming together as one rich tapestry of gratitude. At our table there is room to share a seat... room for old traditions and new ones... room to remember where our food comes from... and room to give thanks.
There are countless ways we celebrate and give to others on Thanksgiving. The goodness we share lasts the rest of the year—and sometimes for a lifetime. From joyful preparation of food, to quiet reflection honoring farmers and Native communities, to cherished moments of laughter with friends or family...there is always room for making more memories together.
Thank you for being here! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving week. I appreciate each and every one of you. 💙
Warmly,
Ally
